Karakteristik Pasien Lansia Yang Mengalami Hipertensi Di Puskesmas Cendrawasih Periode Juli 2024

Abstrak

Hypertension is an increase in systolic blood pressure of 130 mmHg or more and diastolic pressure of 80 mmHg or more. Based on WHO (2023), it is predicted that 1.28 billion individuals aged 30–79 years globally will suffer from hypertension, with 2/3 of them living in low and middle incomes countries. According to WHO (2023), an estimated 1.28 billion individuals aged 30-79 years globally suffer from hypertension, with 2/3 living in low and middle-income countries. Based on Basic Health Research (Riskesdas 2018), the prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia reached 34.1%, increased from 25.8% in 2013. According to WHO (2023), elderly classification includes pre-elderly (55-65 years), young elderly (66-74 years), and elderly (75-90 years). The aim of the research was To identify characteristics of elderly hypertensive patients at Cendrawasih Health Center, Makassar City in July 2024. The research method used is a descriptive study utilizing an observational approach. This study showed that 72 hypertensive patients (74%) were women and 25 men (26%). Based on age 55-65 years there are 33 people (34%), 66-74 years there are 45 people (46%), 75-90 years there are 18 people (19%). Based on the degree of grade 1 hypertension, there were 42 people (43%) and grade 2 hypertension, there were 55 people (57%), based on work, retirees 58 people (59%), housewives 20 people (21%), employees 18 people (19%), teacher 1 person (1%). Based on the consumption of anti-hypertension drugs, namely CCB, 95 people (98%) and diuretics 2 people (2%). Women had the highest prevalence of hypertension, the most common age group was 66-74 years, grade 2 hypertension was most prevalent, retirees were the largest occupational group, and CCB was the most commonly used antihypertensive medication.
